A 17-year-old girl is dead, and a 69-year-old Luxemburg man is in custody following a crash Friday night in Ashwaubenon.
FOX11 reports that Douglas James Proehl was behind the wheel of a vehicle that ran a red light at the intersection of Holmgren Way and Lombardi Avenue at around 5:00 p.m.
Witness reports noted that Proehl’s truck was traveling East on Lombardi when he struck the side of a sedan turning south onto Holmgren from Westbound Lombardi.
17-year-old Chloe Bishop was later pronounced dead at a local hospital while her father, 45-year-old Danny Bishop, was hospitalized.
Proehl has since been booked into the Brown County Jail on a requested charge of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle, however charges have not yet been formally charged as of this morning.
