The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore is teaming up with several local organizations to help increase tech literacy among seniors.
The ADRC has joined forces with the Manitowoc Public Library, the Lester Public Library, and the YMCA to introduce “Tech Time with the ADRC.”
There are three classes scheduled, with the first being held at the Manitowoc Public Library from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on February 20th.
The second will be at the Lester Public Library on March 20th from 10:45 to 12:45 p.m., and the final class will be held at the YMCA on April 10th, and will run from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m.
The ADRC noted, “Technology is critical in our world to staying connected with friends, family, and other loved ones. Over 90% of the 50+ population owns a smartphone, and with this technology comes questions – and the ADRC is here to help!”
