Kiel Middle School made sure its students are more prepared for adult life this week.
Sonny and Travis from Premiere First Credit Union stopped into the Careers class to discuss real-world financial skills.
This included how to write a check, complete deposit slips, and record transactions in a ledger.
6th Grade Core Teacher Kari Migacz noted, “These hands-on lessons helped students better understand everyday banking responsibilities and the importance of financial organization and accountability.”
She thanked Sonny and Travis for “sharing your knowledge and helping our students gain practical skills they’ll carry with them well beyond the classroom.”
