Changes are on the way at the Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC).
STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts has informed the organization and public that she will be stepping away from her role.
Roberts says this will be a six-week transition, but at this time, her successor has yet to be named.
In her message, Roberts expressed her gratitude and thanks to everyone involved with STC during her time, from department heads, artists, volunteers, performers, and everyone in between.
While the move is bittersweet, Roberts feels her time with the local theatre group was quite successful, stating, “STC is financially stable and well-positioned for its next chapter. We strengthened the organization’s foundation, expanded programming, and continued to center storytelling that reflects and serves our community.”
While speaking directly to her STC colleagues, she said, “Your passion, generosity, and belief in the power of theatre are what sustain this organization, and it has been an honor to work alongside you.”
Anyone with questions regarding Roberts’ decision to step away is asked to contact Director of Recreation Jody Brooks or anyone on the STC Advisory Committee.
Their contact information can be found online by visiting stcshows.org.
