Two Rivers Utilities is once again looking to help out high school seniors seeking higher education.
TRU has begun accepting applications for its annual scholarship program, with applications due no later than April 3rd.
TRU will be offering two separate $500 scholarships to students whose parents or legal guardians are current customers of the utility provider.
The Energy Industry Scholarship will be awarded to a student planning to attend a higher education institution offering courses related to the energy industry, such as electrical engineering, nuclear power, renewable energy, and other related fields.
The General Education Scholarship will go to any student planning on attending a technical college, academic college, or university.
Applications can be handwritten or submitted electronically by downloading the scholarship PDF on the TRU website.
Winning applications will be carefully reviewed and chosen by the WPPI Energy Scholarship Committee, with winners to be announced in May.
