A Republican is dropping out of the race to be Wisconsin’s next governor.
Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann announced yesterday that he was ending his candidacy after less than a year on the campaign trail.
Schoemann’s decision came the day after President Trump endorsed Congressman Tom Tiffany in the race, which Schoemann congratulated him for.
In a statement, Schoeman said the “fight to reclaim Wisconsin will go on,” and he’s proud of the campaign he ran.
