A house fire in Appleton has left one person with minor injuries.
The Appleton Fire Department was dispatched to the 1900 block of North Division Street at around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon on a report of smoke and flames coming from a residence.
One person and their two pets were able to evacuate the home before crews arrived, however another resident and two cats were still inside.
Firefighters helped them exit the building and extinguished the fire within 15 minutes of their arrival.
One resident was treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.
The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage, but the cause is still unknown.
