The City of Two Rivers is raising money for youth sports while celebrating winter.
They are hosting an event called the Winter Hangout taking place at Washington Park on Friday (January 30th) from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The city call is a laid-back, family-friendly evening designed to give the community something fun to do during these long months.
There will be acoustic music from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. along with a warming fire, sweet and savory s’mores, hot dogs cooked over the fire, some local beers, and sledding and ice skating.
Yard games like cornhole will also be available to play.
Registration is required for the Winter Hangout with the Cool City, which asks for donations to the Parks and Recreation Youth Financial Aid and Equipment Fund or the Friends of the Two Rivers Senior Center.
