The Kiel Area School Dance Team are regional champions.
In a post on the Kiel Area School District Facebook page, their team earned 1st place in the Division 5 poms, 1st place in the Division 3 kick, and 2nd place in Division 3 jazz.
It’s the first time in school history that they’ve become regional champs.
The team continues to say that they feel lucky, grateful, and mostly proud of themselves as they pushed back “every obstacle, overcame mental blocks, and danced as a team.”
The Kiel Dance Team also had three state qualifiers, including Annika Liermann, Aubery Loveland, and Carson Woods.
The Varsity State Dance event takes place at the La Crosse Center on February 6th and 7th.
