A Kiel man facing possession of child pornography charges will be going to trial in a few months.
25-year-old Alexander Krake was back in Calumet County court yesterday, where a two-day trial was set to begin on March 25th, with a jury-selection hearing scheduled for March 17th.
WBAY reports that Krake was arrested after police received a cyber tip tied to Discord activity and traced an IP address back to a residence in New Holstein.
A criminal complaint alleges that most counts stem from activity between October and mid-December of 2024, as well as June and July of 2024.
Krake faces 15 counts of possession of child pornography, with each count carrying up to 25 years in prison.
