
There are two governmental meetings on the docket today (January 26th) in the City of Sheboygan.
Up first will be the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee who will be meeting inside Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
The group will begin by reviewing two requests for extensions of liquor licenses before discussing other applications for various other licenses in the city.
Then at 5:00 p.m., the Public Works Committee will take over Council Chambers.
They will begin with a vote to enter into a contract for a major upgrade to the wastewater pump station on Kentucky Avenue before a vote to demolish a digester area at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Committee will also vote on entering a contract with Strand Associates to conduct ultraviolet light disinfection transition at the treatment plant.
To close out the meeting, the group will vote on executing an engineering contract for the design of the New Jersey Avenue Trail.
