Multiple people are facing drug trafficking charges after a large-scale operation in Fond du Lac County earlier this month.
The Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG) Drug Unit, in conjunction with the Fond du Lac Police Department, executed a search warrant in 200 block of 6th Street in Fond du Lac on January 16th.
This warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of drugs. During the execution of the warrant, officers located and seized cocaine, U.S. currency, marijuana, and other drugs and paraphernalia.
As a result of the operation, 50-year-old Willie S. Davis and 37-year-old Jesse J. Seltrecht were arrested and transported to the county jail.
Davis and Seltrecht both now face a long list of charges, including Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine and THC, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession of Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin.
In their announcement of the drug bust, Fond du Lac Police stated, “The Fond du Lac Police Department remains committed to combating illegal drug activity and protecting the safety and quality of life of the Fond du Lac community. Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
