Six people have been arrested in Door County after a major drug trafficking investigation by the Door County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies explain that they, along with the Sturgeon Bay Police Department and Door County SWAT Team, conducted a coordinated operation stemming from a long-term investigation into fraud and drug trafficking.
Two residential search warrants were executed, and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted in an effort to arrest those involved.
As a result of the investigation, 125.6 grams of cocaine were seized, and all six arrested are facing several charges, including unauthorized use of an individual’s personal information or documents, theft by fraud, delivery of cocaine, and other charges.
Door County Chief Deputy Kyle Veeser says the incident is still under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
