
A man is facing 1st-degree intentional homicide charges in Calumet County.
Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Joseph Tenor says deputies were called to a residence in the 2000 block of County Highway HR in the Town of Brillion just before 10:30 a.m. yesterday (January 21st).
When they arrived, they found a 66-year-old man inside who had died from apparent blunt force trauma to the head.
A 40-year-old man, who’s related to the victim, was taken into custody at the scene.
The suspect was taken to the Calumet County Correctional Facility for the homicide charge.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the incident appears to be isolated and poses no danger to the public.
The case is still under investigation, and no further details are being released at this time.
The names of those involved are being withheld pending notification of the family.
