The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) has launched an interactive way for residents to check out the design plans for two major projects.
This week, the district unveiled 3-D virtual walk-throughs of the current interior design plans at both Urban and Farnsworth Middle Schools, which are planned for major reconstruction.
Each virtual walk-through begins in the respective school’s main office before taking viewers through classrooms, learning spaces, cafeterias, and other spaces, showing what both schools are expected to look like once the referendum projects are fully complete.
At this time, SASD says that both the Farnsworth and Urban projects remain on schedule, with the majority of interior design plans complete.
The virtual walk-throughs can be found by visiting the SASD Facebook page, while monthly project reports and preliminary renderings at each school are available to those interested by visiting sheboygan.k12.wi.us.
The anticipated completion of Farnsworth Middle School is expected to be in the fall of 2027, with Urban Middle School to be the following fall in 2028.
