A De Pere man is getting prison time for sexually assaulting teen employees at a restaurant where he worked.
WBAY reports that 40-year-old Joshua Johnson will spend 25 years in prison after a Brown County judge sentenced him last week on charges including repeated sexual assault of the same child, child enticement, causing a child to view sexual activity, and 2nd-degree child sexual assault.
A criminal complaint says three 15-year-old girls reported sexual contact with Johnson in 2023 when he was working as the manager of a Culver’s in Suamico, but was fired after one of the girls reported being kissed multiple times in the cooler and bathroom.
A sexual assault would later happen after he offered another victim a ride to Target.
During sentencing, the 40-year-old apologized for his actions, but a judge called what he did “grooming behavior” and said he had control because he was the restaurant’s manager.
Johsons was also ordered to have no contact with the victims and must complete a sex offender treatment.
