A busy week at City Hall will be kicked off with three governmental meetings today (January 19th) in Sheboygan.
Starting off the day will be the City’s Board of Waterworks Commissioners, who will be meeting at 3:30 p.m. at the Water Utility Admin Office.
They will begin by receiving their usual reports before possible votes on sludge removal service, Wi-Fi cabling at the water treatment plant, and 2026 water main projects.
Then at 4:00 p.m., the Historic Preservation Committee will meet in the first-floor conference room at City Hall, where they will discuss the Sheboygan Breakwater Lighthouse, potential landmarking around the city, and designating the Fountain Park Monument.
Rounding out the night will be the Common Council meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Major items on the agenda for the Council include a vote on the Purchase and Sale Contract for a parcel of land for an Amazon logistics facility, changes to the Sheboygan Zoning Code, and a potential veto for Mayor Ryan Sorenson regarding specific zoning changes in the city.
