A former correctional officer who owns a business in Waukesha County has been charged in a child sexual assault case.
According to court documents, 32-year-old Codey Houdek is charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault involving a child under 13.
The allegations were reported to police last month by the child’s mother.
However, they are said to have occurred at Houdek’s business during the summer of 2024.
Investigators report that Houdek referred to the victim as an “adoptive daughter” and that the abuse happened multiple times.
If convicted, Houdek could face up to 60 years in prison for each charge.
