The Manitowoc Lutheran boys basketball team looked to keep up its hot streak when they welcomed Hilbert to Lancer Circle.
Thanks to some hot shooting, the Lancers notched their 6th straight win, taking down the Wolves 77-57.
From start to finish, the Lancers were in command in this one that saw both sides knocking down shots from behind the arc.
Despite four first-half triples from Hilbert’s Nate Huettl, Manitowoc Lutheran still led by 16 at halftime.
However, the Wolves came out strong in the second and cut the deficit to single digits, but Lancers sophomore Aaden Krause’s 9 second-half points closed the door on any hopes of a comeback.
Krause finished with 16 to lead the Lancers, while Huettl finished with a game-high 18.
With the win, Manitowoc Lutheran improves to 8-3 on the season, 3-2 in the Big East North Conference, and Hilbert drops to 5-7.
Manitowoc Lutheran will next be in action on Monday (January 19th) for another home contest against the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters.
