Manitowoc’s Police Chief has announced their 2025 Officer of the Year through the Manitowoc Noon Rotary.
Chief Nick Reimer revealed on WOMT’s Be My Guest program that Officer Jacob Shillcox is a great young man who’s served the department for five years.
Although he’s still relatively new, he is the senior advisor on second shift for the department.
Chief Reimer noted that Officer Shilcox “Does a great job with the warrant team, with field training, with all the different things he does. Very positive attitude. He’s just a very solid individual.”
Officer Shillcox was nominated by two different individuals in the department.
Previous winners included Officer Ali Hansen and Lieutenant Bruce Tuma.
