
Explore Two Rivers is announcing its new board of directors.
The 2026 board includes members from businesses and city departments and will guide the organization’s efforts in tourism promotion, community engagement, and economic vitality.
The include Michael Ditmer from the Bernard and Fern Schwartz House as president, with Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Director Mike Mathis as the vice president.
Curt Andrews from the Two Rivers Room Tax Commission will serve as treasurer for the board, followed by Todd Nilson from Clockwork Advisors as Secretary.
Members at Large include Mellissa Nyssen from the Violet Inn, Lounge, and Spa, Erin Dembski from Point Beach State Forest, Amanda La Tour from the Two Rivers Police Department, and Lyssa Schmidt from the Van der Brohe Arboretum. The last member at large is Cherry Barbier, a short-term rental property owner.
Explore Two Rivers also sent its sincere appreciation to outgoing board member John Wyrostek for his years of dedication and leadership.
