
The verdict is in for a man charged in a Green Bay stabbing incident.
WBAY reports that, after nearly two hours of deliberation, a jury found 31-year-old Jaharrie Jelks guilty on charges of Attempted 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide, False Imprisonment, Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, Drive or Operate Vehicle w/o Consent, and Armed Robbery with Threat of Force.
On December 8th, 2024, Green Bay police located a 56-year-old man on Western Avenue with stab wounds to his chest and back.
The suspect, Jelks, had fled the scene but was later identified by the victim out of a lineup after he was arrested in an auto theft case.
Jelks is due back in court on March 13th for his sentencing.
