The Denmark Vikings girls’ basketball team hits the road for a Northeast Wisconsin Conference game in Wrightstown against the Tigers.
The Vikings lost for just the second time this season Tuesday night at Fox Valley Lutheran, but most importantly, they are in a dogfight for the conference championship.
Seven teams are within two games of the top spot, currently occupied by Denmark at 4 and 1, while Wrightstown and Luxemburg Casco are each 4 and 2, with Little Chute, Freedom.
Marinette and Waupaca are all within striking distance of the front-running Vikings.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
Other girls’ games include Valders at New Holstein as part of a girl-boy doubleheader, Kewaunee hosts Shawano Community, Brookfield Academy is at Ozaukee, and Luxemburg Casco travels to Oconto Falls to play the Panthers.
