
The Reedsville Panthers are the new number one team in the Division Five Max Preps High School boys’ basketball poll.
The Panthers, under the leadership of Head Coach Ron Prochnow, are 10-1 and led by Ben Prochnow, Arden Strenn, and Jack Schwahn, who are all averaging in double-figure scoring this season.
Manitowoc Lutheran of Head Coach Scott Loberger cracked the top 25 for the first time third season at number 24 in Division Four.
They have won five straight after last night’s home win over top-ranked Reedsville. Elkhart Lake/ Glenbeulah is 15th in Division Five, and Green Bay NEW Lutheran debuts in the D-5 poll at number 24.
Back to Division Four, where undefeated Kewaunee is ranked third. St. Mary Catholic is 8th, Algoma ranks 10th, with Howards Grove and Roncalli ranked 16th and 17th, respectively.
Freedom remains first in Division Three, Seymour is second, with Oostburg checking in at number 10.
West De Pere is the area’s top-ranked team in Division Two at number six. Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay is 17th, and Fox Valley Lutheran of Appleton is 22nd.
The Sheboygan North Golden Raiders are ranked fourth in Division One.
De Pere and Kaukauna are sixth and seventh, respectively, Bay Port is 18th, and the Neenah Rockets are ranked 22nd.
