A third man charged with transporting 25 pounds of methamphetamine to Manitowoc County is still looking for a lawyer.
Court records show that 29-year-old Corven M. Jones was back in Manitowoc County Court on Monday (January 12th) for his adjourned initial appearance.
Jones does qualify for public defender representation, but the department has not yet found an attorney for him.
Judge Anthony Lambrecht adjourned the matter and set another appearance for January 26th.
31-year-old Andre Allen and 30-year-old Karonn Hamilton have already pleaded not guilty to their roles and will return to court in February and March, respectively, for their next court dates.
Jones is the only one without a lawyer yet.
All three men were arrested by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department after law enforcement determined that they were traveling to the City of Manitowoc for the purpose of delivering the methamphetamine.
The investigation was done by the county’s Metro Drug Unit and the DEA of Green Bay.
