The City of Two Rivers is telling residents where it will replace lead service laterals over the next two years.
Ongoing replacement areas for 2026 and 2027 include the near north-central area from the East Twin River west to Forest Avenue, between 23rd and 31st Street, and the central portion of the city from 16th Street north to 23rd Street between East River Street and Adams Street.
350 lead service line replacements will take place, leaving the city with 850 left. Two Rivers began its Lead Service Line Replacement Program in 2017 to address infrastructure issues.
400 LSLs were replaced between 2024 and 2025, and an additional 200 between 2025 and 2026.
Property owners affected in 2026 will receive advance notice later in the spring, prior to the finalization of construction schedules.
