An Oshkosh man is now facing charges after he walked into the police station and admitted to killing his boyfriend.
WBAY reports that Willie C. Rollins handed over a handgun to the Oshkosh Police Department on January 5th and told police exactly where they would find the victim’s body.
Officers went to Rollins’ home on 9th Avenue and went to the basement, where they found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
The man was not yet deceased, but was later declared brain dead and placed on life support before succumbing to his injuries.
Rollins reportedly told detectives that the two had gotten into an argument over the home internet, which escalated to a physical altercation.
Rollins admitted to hitting the victim with a chair before firing two shots in his direction.
A baggie of meth was found in his wallet, which corroborated statements from the victim’s family that Rollins had past substance abuse issues and possible mental health issues.
They also claimed that Rollins had previously threatened the victim.
Rollins is being held on a $750,000 cash bond on charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Possession of Methamphetamine, and is due back in court on January 20th.
