The “small but mighty” Kiel Boys Swim team was able to secure some individual gold at their home meet on Thursday.
The squad was led by Aaron Fenderwisch, who won the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events, continuing his success from last season.
Sam Keuler also had a strong outing, earning gold in the 100 butterfly and silver in the 200 individual medley, while Kauai Lueck finished 2nd in the 100 backstroke.
Also earning silver was the 200 medley relay, featuring those three swimmers and Jaksin Morgen.
Due to the limited number of swimmers on the team, the Raiders were only able to secure 59 points as a team, well off the 130 first-place score put up by the Shawano-Seymour Co-op and the 78 posted by Notre Dame.
They only competed in nine of the eleven events, but finished in the top three in all of them.
The Raiders will be back in the pool Saturday as they travel to Cedarburg High School for a 17-school invite.
