
Manitowoc Lutheran senior guard Makiah Krause needs six points in tonight’s home game against Hilbert to reach 1,000 points in her career.
Krause has carved out an outstanding career at MLHS, having recorded more than 1,000 assists for the two-time state volleyball champion Lancers, along with representing Manitowoc Lutheran at the state track and field championships in La Crosse.
The Lancers are also in the middle of the Big East North Division title hunt as they trail St. Mary Catholic by one game in the standings.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:15 p.m. at Lancer Circle.
Other girls’ hoops games tonight include Reedsville at St. Mary Catholic, Denmark looks for their tenth win in 11 games as they host 8-3 Marinette, undefeated Oostburg plays at Sheboygan Christian, Sheboygan Lutheran hosts Ozaukee, Sheboygan North entertains Bay Port, while Howards Grove heads down to Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah.
Elsewhere, Kewaunee travels to Sturgeon Bay, Algoma hosts Gibraltar. Sevastopol entertains Oconto, Menominee Nation plays at Southern Door, West De Pere is at Green Bay Preble, De Pere hosts Ashwaubenon, Notre Dame heads to Pulaski, Providence Academy of Green Bay visits Green Bay East, and Wrightstown is home for the Waupaca Comets.
