Public Drawing for Manitowoc Contested Races Happens Next Week

The City of Manitowoc will decide the order of candidates in two contested races for the Common Council.

City Clerk Mackenzie Reed will conduct the drawing next Tuesday (January 13th) at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall at 8:00 a.m.

The drawing will decide the order of candidates running for alderperson in districts five and six.

In District 5, Incumbent William Debates is running for reelection against challenger Mason Benzinger, while District 6 Incumbent Eric Sitkiewitz will face off against Benjamin Hilburger.

Candidates in districts 4, 8, and 9 are running unopposed.
