Two of the three men charged with bringing drugs from Virginia to Manitowoc are maintaining their innocence.
FOX11 reports that 31-year-old Andre Allen and 30-year-old Karonn Hamilton were both in court yesterday (January 8th) where they each waived their preliminary hearings and pleaded not guilty.
The third suspect, 29-year-old Corven Jones, is due for his adjourned initial appearance on January 12th, as he is still seeking legal representation. All three were arrested in mid-December after they were caught with 25 pounds of Methamphetamine in their vehicle.
The arrest was a collaborative effort between the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office Metro Drug Unit and the DEA unit in Green Bay, which was aided by the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center, Manitowoc and Two Rivers Police, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the FBI, among other agencies.
Allen is due back in court for further proceedings on February 13th, while Hamilton is due on March 11th.
