A police officer in the City of Menasha has been arrested.
The Appleton Police Department explains that they opened an investigation back in October related to allegations of stalking.
As a result of that investigation, Cristian Morales, an officer with the Menasha Police Department, was arrested yesterday morning (January 7th) by Appleton Police and has since been charged with one count of Stalking.
Throughout the investigation, the Menasha Police Department cooperated with police in Appleton and provided assistance as it was requested.
Following his arrest, Morales was placed on administrative leave by the Menasha Police Department.
With this being an active criminal case, authorities in Appleton have said that no additional information regarding the situation will be released at this time.
