Northeastern Wisconsin residents continue to win big in the Wisconsin Lottery.
A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip in Appleton on N. Richmond Road for last Saturday’s (January 3rd) drawing.
The winner matched four of the five numbers, which were 18-21-40-53-60, and the Powerball of 23.
Of last year’s Powerball wins in Appleton, two were $50,000 tickets, while there were also two $100,000 winners.
There was also a $2 million winner split by seven players.
There have now been twelve winning Powerball tickets of $50,000 or more sold in Appleton since 2017.
Five of the tickets were purchased in 2025.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings, while the Kwik Trip will earn an incentive of up to $100,000.
