The ballots for the 2026 Manitowoc and Two Rivers City Council elections are now set.
In Two Rivers, all three incumbents got their paperwork in on time, meaning there will be five people running to fill three at-large seats up for grabs.
This includes sitting council members Darla LeClair, Bonnie Shimulunas, and Council Vice-President Adam Wachowski, who will be challenged by Shawntel L. Hoffman and Katherine Dahlke.
As for Manitowoc, there are only two contested races.
Jodi Brey, Bill Schlei, and Brett Norell will all retain their seats in Districts 4, 8, and 9, respectively.
The District 5 race will feature incumbent William DeBeats being challenged by Mason J. Benzinger, while District 6 Alderman Eric Sitkiewitz will face off with Benjamin Hilburger.
Both challengers got their paperwork in just under the wire, submitting them on Monday.
The Spring Election is scheduled for April 7th, and if necessary for other races, the primary will be held on February 17th.
