Two people are dead following a house fire in Lafayette County.
First responders were called to the home early yesterday morning in the town of Shullsburg, about an hour and a half southwest of Madison.
Firefighters got the flames under control and later found two bodies inside.
Crews said entry before that was impossible due to the severity of the blaze.
Investigators are awaiting positive identification of the bodies and looking into the cause of the fire.
