An Oshkosh man has died following a rollover crash in Fond du Lac County.
The Fond du Lac County Communication Center was notified of the crash on Highway M near Amity Road just before 7:00 Monday evening.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the Township of Waupun, where they found 61-year-old Troy A. Navis of Oshkosh in the vehicle, which had overturned in the east ditch.
The Brandon/Fairwater Fire Department also responded, led the extraction efforts, and began administering first aid.
Navis was taken to a Fond du Lac hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It was determined that Navis was traveling north on Highway M just north of Amity Road when his vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash, however, it is still under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
