There are two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (January 6th).
Up first is the Joint Dispatch Board, which will gather in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 a.m. After giving the public time to comment, the group will continue its conversations on residential alerts for responding services and pre-alert paging.
Then, the group will get updates on a tabletop exercise with Calumet County and staffing.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee will convene in the County Admin Building, where they will also hear comments from the public.
Then, after discussing a leave of absence request, the Committee will talk about human services, health insurance, body cameras, short-term disability, and recruitment for all departments.
