A child is recovering after being hit by a car north of Milwaukee.
It happened yesterday in the Froedtert West Bend Health Center parking lot when the 4-year-old was struck by the vehicle.
She was taken to the hospital and last listed in critical condition. West Bend police say a 28-year-old woman from Hartford was behind the wheel and arrested after the collision.
The department is recommending charges of causing injury while operating under a controlled substance, drug possession, and more.
