An argument between two men in Sturgeon Bay turned into a stabbing over the weekend.
The Sturgeon Bay Police Department was called to the 1200 block of Tacoma Beach Road at 11:30 Saturday night (January 3rd) on a report of a stabbing.
Investigators learned that a 30-year-old man and a 35-year-old man had been arguing when the elder man took out a small folding knife and threatened to stab the other man.
This led to a scuffle, which resulted in the man who took out the knife being stabbed in his left side.
He was taken to a local medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and is also facing charges of Recklessly Endangering Safety and Disorderly Conduct.
Assistant Chief of Police San Brinkman noted that the investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will be released.
