There were a pair of shootings around the state, resulting in two people suffering injuries.
Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that injured an 18-year-old on Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m., and the victim was taken to the hospital. No arrests have been made, and the circumstances leading to the shooting are still under investigation.
No further details about a potential suspect have been released.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact MPD or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
Also, one person was hurt after a shooting in the town of Fulton.
It happened early Thursday morning during a New Year’s party in the 300 block of East Samuelson Drive.
Police say they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound and took them to the hospital, but their current condition wasn’t released.
While officers are investigating the shooting, they said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
