2025 was a highly successful year for SeehaferNews.com.
In total, the news team wrote nearly 7,000 local stories, and over 9,500 when you factor in the statewide stories.
While a vast majority of the most viewed stories on SeehaferNews.com were crime-related, many are related to the local economy, and people doing good things.
The 86th most viewed story of 2025 was about the Two Rivers Kwik Trip sending a care package to a Navy Seaman on duty, while #63 was the creation of Manitowoc’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area.
The City of Manitowoc confirming the death of Jim Brey came in at number 34, and the story we ran last weekend about the owner of Salute to Everyone buying the former Jade Palace restaurant was #14.
Coming in at number five was the story of a Francis Creek man abducting a woman at a Francis Creek gas station.
#4 was the missing Fox Valley teen being wanted for a child sexual assault.
The number 3 most viewed story was the sentencing of Thomas James Bellmer on three different cases, while Senator Tammy Baldwin’s comments of President Donald Trump cutting Head Start funding was number 2.
The top-viewed story of the year was Ammo Inc. selling its ammunition division to Olin Winchester.
