A Manitowoc woman has once again been arrested for driving while intoxicated.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on patrol on Waldo Boulevard near North 5th Street at 10:00 Monday evening (December 29th), when they noticed a vehicle going 40 MPH in a 25 MPH zone.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the officer noted a strong smell of intoxicants coming from the vehicle.
The 46-year-old woman was said to be displaying several signs of impairment, including jumpy, anxious behavior, and having watery eyes.
She admitted to consuming three cans of beer prior to getting behind the wheel, prior to a field sobriety test being administered, which she failed.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw before she was booked into the Manitowoc County Jail on her 5th OWI.
