Officials are investigating a natural gas leak near TC Energy’s Kewaskum compressor station that prompted a brief evacuation.
The company says it was notified of the leak late Thursday night and immediately began emergency response procedures.
Local officials evacuated some nearby homes out of an abundance of caution.
The gas release was stopped within about an hour, and evacuation orders were lifted.
