A Fond du Lac man has been arrested for his 4th OWI.
A Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol was dispatched to the area of Highway 151 near County Road TC in Fond du Lac County at 8:30 p.m. on Christmas after a concerned citizen reported a vehicle that was unable to stay in its lane.
The trooper located the vehicle and also noticed it was deviating from its lane. A traffic stop was conducted, during which the trooper made contact with Emilio Mendoza Aguilar.
The trooper noticed significant signs of impairment, and an evidentiary blood draw was also conducted, but the results are still pending.
Mendoza Aguilar was charged with his 4th OWI and cited for deviating from his lane.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is reminding residents that “a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
