There was a gas leak early this morning in Sheboygan County, prompting an evacuation.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center announced just after midnight that there was a gas leak at W8715 Tower Drive north of Beechwood, which is in the southwest corner of the County.
Very little information was made available, other than everyone within a mile of that location was ordered to evacuate.
The all clear was given at 1:05 a.m. The Waldo Fire Department dispatched a pair of engines to the area to assist the Beechwood Fire Department at the scene.
