
Some new names are looking to represent the people of Two Rivers, while no challengers have stepped forward in Manitowoc.
In the Cool City. Shawntel L. Hoffman and Katherine Dahlke have filed their paperwork to run for at-large seats on the City Council in April.
As of this morning, no incumbents have officially announced their intent to run.
As for the Manitowoc Common Council election, Districts 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 will be on the ballot.
So far, it’s an all incumbent race, with 4th District Alder Jodi Brey, District 6 representative Eric Sitkiewitz, District 8 Alder and Council President Bill Schlei, and District 9’s Brett Norell being the only people to file.
The Spring Election is scheduled for April 7th, with the primary slated for February 17th if necessary.
Nomination paperwork is due by January 6th.
