Eastern Wisconsin motorists are getting a bit of an early Christmas present as gas prices are down again.
The average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Manitowoc County dipped by five cents since this time last week to $2.50, as reported by the AAA Gas Prices website.
Sheboygan County must have been very good, because Santa Claus delivered a 12-cent drop in gas prices, leaving the average at $2.42, the lowest in our area.
Calumet County saw a nine-cent decline to $2.51, while Outagamie County reported a drop of a nickel to $2.50.
Brown and Kewaunee Counties each saw seven-cent dips to $2.47 and $2.48, respectively, and Door County’s average fell by only a penny to $2.52.
The state average is down six cents to $2.46, and the national average dipped five cents to $2.85.
