The Manitowoc Public School District has continued a musical holiday tradition.
For the past 24 years, elementary school students have been participating in Winter Caroling, helping get everyone in the buildings into the holiday spirit.
This year, the 5th-grade Band & Orchestra students shared festive carols as they traveled throughout their schools, performing for classmates, siblings, and staff members.
They performed in small groups, jumping from classroom to classroom, spreading the sounds of the season to every corner of the buildings.
The MPSD noted, “Winter Caroling is especially meaningful because it’s our young musicians’ first public performance, marking the start of their musical journey in MPSD… What a joyful way to celebrate tradition, talent, and togetherness.”
