Some breaded chicken products sold across the United States have been recalled, including in Wisconsin.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced that Suzanna’s Kitchen has recalled approximately 62,550 pounds of the bone-in breaded chicken due to misbranding and the presence of an undeclared allergen.
The items in question were produced on November 4th, bearing the establishment number of P-1380, and contain soy, a known allergen, which was not declared on the product labels.
The chicken products were produced by Suzanna’s Kitchen out of Georgia and shipped to restaurant locations nationwide, including here in Wisconsin.
Currently, no adverse reactions have been reported to do the consumption of the now recalled chicken, however, the FSIS fears some establishments may have the products in their freezers.
Anyone in possession of these bone-in breaded chicken items is urged to throw them out.
