Residents will soon be able to submit their ideas to the Wisconsin DNR.
The Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC), which helps advise the DNR on how to responsibly manage natural resources, will start its annual spring hearing process on Monday, January 5th.
Residents can submit a resolution to the group, but it must be a concern of statewide impact, be practical and reasonable, and must be within the mission and vision of the congress.
An individual can submit only two resolutions per year, and those interested can submit one through the resolution review committee.
They will be accepted until February 9th and will be reviewed by the WCC.
Delegates will then prepare for a spring hearing and online input on the resolutions in April.
